Multireaktor 4.000

The Multireaktor 4,000 is a versatile, high-performance reactor for freshwater and saltwater aquariums. It can be used as a floor-standing unit, in a filter sump or as a hang-on system mounted directly on the aquarium. It can be connected flexibly via a bypass to the existing filter system or via a separate feed pump.
With its large reactor volume of 4,000 ml, the Multireaktor is particularly suitable for large aquarium setups, display aquariums, breeding systems and sophisticated aquascaping tanks. Thanks to the two perforated plates supplied, the reactor can be optimally adapted to different filter media.
The Multireaktor is suitable for use as a pellet reactor, fluidised bed reactor or media filter and offers maximum flexibility for biological, chemical and mechanical filtration applications.

Applications: Freshwater

Phosphate control
Ideal for use with phosphate adsorbents (e.g. Siliphos freshwater) to sustainably reduce elevated phosphate levels.
This helps prevent algae growth and promotes healthy plant growth.

Nitrate reduction
In combination with suitable biological filter media or nitrate adsorbents (e.g. Duresin N), nitrate levels can be effectively reduced and water quality stabilised in the long term.

Activated carbon filtration
For the removal of medication residues, yellowing substances, odours and organic contamination. For crystal-clear water and optimal light transmission.

Silicate removal
Suitable for use with silicate adsorbents (e.g. Duresin SI) to reduce diatom problems, particularly during the start-up phase.

Humic substance and peat filtration
Perfect for the controlled use of peat granules or humic substance media for natural water treatment for discus fish, angelfish, dwarf cichlids and other soft-water species.

High-performance biological filtration
Can be operated with biological filter media to significantly increase the surface area for beneficial filter bacteria.

Fluidised bed filtration
Ensures optimal water flow and maximum efficiency of the filter media used.
