More than just Nano, the Ocean Cube 80 offers a unique link between traditional nano aquaria and a larger reef aquarium. With an integrated filter chamber and the possibility, to integrate a protein skimmer, such as the (Cube Skimmer 120) directly into the system, you can create your own miniature reef for your home. After its running-in period, the Ocean Cube 80 presents a small microcosm where all living beings and microorganisms exist in a mutually dependent network. If the aquarium size is in correct proportion to the diversity number of the aquatic life forms it houses, a permanently stable biological system develops with minimal care, providing the aquarist with long-lasting enjoyment. Tiny reef inhabitants such as small hermit crabs, mini gobies, various corals, starfish, shrimp or the smallest sessile invertebrates, which can easily be overlooked in a large aquarium, can be properly observed in a nano aquarium. This allows them to exert a special appeal to their observers. The Ocean Cube 80 at a glance:

The ultra-white glass aquarium with the dimensions L 45 cm x W 45 cm x H 40 cm (incl. filter chamber L 45 cm x W 10 cm x H 40 cm) has a volume of 80 liters. 18 liters are dedicated to the integrated filter system. A cover glass and safety mat is already included in the delivery scope. The recommended pump performance is 1.200 l/h (pump not included in delivery!). The optionally available Ocean Cube Upgrade Set 80 is an ideal addition to the Ocean Cube 80 and includes everything needed for a successful start in marine aquatics.

Ocean Cube LED 23 W

With an optimal light spectrum ideally tailored to the needs of a nano marine aquarium. The installed LEDs stand for an extra long lifespan of 50,000 hours and can be controlled separately via two separate channels. The balanced mixed light ensures a brilliant and fluorescent display of colors in lower animals and corals. At the same time, the photosynthesis of the zooxanthellae (symbiotic algae) is supported and thus promotes healthy coral growth.

3 Liter Reef Ground

Natural, ultra-pure Aragonit with a grain size of 0.5 - 1.2 mm. The substrate is extremely bright with high light reflection, which is particularly advantageous for light-hungry corals. Additionally, the substrate serves as a refugium for many useful organisms, has a decisive influence on various biological processes, and serves as a source of calcium and magnesium.

2 x 2 kg Natural Balance Reef Salt

The special salt mixture is enriched with over 70 trace elements for the perfect seawater aquarium with nature-identical seawater. Bacter M and Bacter Booster Bacteria starter and micronutrients, which significantly support the biological startup phase of the aquarium with important bacteria and necessary micronutrients.

Protein Skimmer

Always better with skimmer! Protein skimmers are among the most important technical devices of a marine aquarium and have the important task of removing organic loads such as protein compounds from the water cycle before they are converted into nitrogen (e.g. nitrate) by biological degradation processes. The Cube Skimmer removes proteins (protein compounds) as well as inorganic and organic molecules from the water before the bacteria can break them down. This relieves the aquarium water and permanently reduces the nitrate content.
