The Ocean Cube 50 is perfect for getting started in immaculately functioning marine aquaria. With a built-in filter chamber and the capability, of integrating a protein skimmer, such as the (Cube Skimmer 120) directly into the system, you create your own mini reef for your home. The Ocean Cube 50, after its break-in period, represents its own small microcosm, where all living creatures and microorganisms live in relation to each other. When the size of the aquarium is in the correct proportion to the size and number of creatures kept, a permanently stable biological system develops with minimal maintenance effort, which the aquarist can enjoy for a long time.

The Ocean Cube 50 overview:

The ultra-white glass aquarium with the dimensions L 34.5 cm x W 39.5 cm x H 35.3 cm (including filter chamber L 34.5 cm x W 10 cm x H 35.3 cm) has a volume of 48 liters. 12 liters are designated for the integrated filter system. A cover glass and safety base is already included in the delivery. The recommended pump performance is 800 l/h (pump not included in delivery!). The optionally available Ocean Cube Upgrade Set 50 is an ideal addition to the Ocean Cube 50 and includes everything needed for a successful start in marine aquaristics.

Ocean Cube LED 15 W

With an optimal light spectrum ideally tuned to the needs of a nano marine aquarium. The installed LED's provide an extra long lifespan of 50,000 hours and can be controlled via two separate channels. The balanced mixed light ensures a brilliant and fluorescent colour splendour in lower animals and corals. At the same time, the photosynthesis of the zooxanthellae (symbiotic algae) is supported, promoting healthy coral growth.

3 Liter Reef Ground

Natural, highly pure Aragonite with a grain size of 0.5 - 1.2 mm. The substrate is extremely bright with high light reflection, which is particularly beneficial for light-hungry corals. Additionally, the substrate serves as a refuge for many useful organisms, has a decisive influence on various biological processes, and provides a source of calcium and magnesium.

2 kg Natural Balance Reef Salt

The special salt mix is enriched with over 70 trace elements for the perfect marine aquarium with nature-identical seawater.

Protein Skimmer

Always better with a Skimmer! Protein Skimmers are among the most important technical devices of a saltwater aquarium and have the important task of removing organic loads such as protein compounds from the water cycle before they are converted into nitrogenous substances (e.g., nitrate) through biological degradation processes. The Cube Skimmer removes proteins (protein compounds) as well as inorganic and organic molecules before the bacteria can break them down. This relieves the aquarium water and permanently reduces the nitrate content.
