Product details
The Multireaktor 4.000 is a versatile, high-performance reactor for marine and freshwater aquariums.
It can be used as a floor-standing unit, in the filter sump or as a hang-on system directly on the aquarium. Connection is flexible via a bypass on the existing filter system or via a separate feed pump.
With its large reactor volume of 4,000 ml, the Multireaktor is particularly suitable for large reef aquariums, display aquariums, breeding facilities and professional marine systems. Thanks to the two perforated plates supplied, the reactor can be optimally adapted to different filter media.
The Multireaktor is suitable for use as a bio-pellet reactor, fluidised bed reactor or media filter and offers maximum flexibility for biological and chemical filtration applications.
Applications in saltwater
Phosphate control
Ideal for use with phosphate adsorbents (e.g. Siliphos) to effectively reduce elevated phosphate levels. Supports coral growth and prevents unwanted algae growth.
Biopellets
Ideal for use with biopellets. The constant movement of the filter media creates ideal conditions for the biological breakdown of nitrate and phosphate. This supports low-nutrient water conditions in modern reef aquariums.
Activated carbon filtration
For the removal of yellowing substances, organic pollutants, medication residues and metabolic by-products released by corals. Ensures crystal-clear water and optimal light transmission.
Silicate removal
Suitable for use with silicate adsorbents (e.g. Siliphos) to reduce silicate and prevent diatom problems.
Fluidised bed filtration
Ensures optimal flow and maximum efficiency of the filter media used. Prevents channeling and ensures even utilisation of the entire filter material.
