Doesn't the blade magnet scratch the glass?
Physically speaking, only harder material can scratch softer material and therefore the steel blades cannot damage the aquarium glass. Of course, you also have to make sure that no small stones get between the magnet and the glass, as these do indeed leave scratch marks. The blades themselves are attached in such a way that even silicone joints in the aquarium are not damaged. The blades are made of stainless V4A steel as used in shipbuilding and can therefore be used in seawater as well.
