The Jungle Star Flower is the dried fruit pod of the tropical Sterculia tree and impresses with its unusual shape and functional properties in the aquarium. Each pod is harvested by hand, carefully dried and remains completely untreated, a genuine piece of nature for your tank.
What makes the Jungle Star Flower so special?
The extravagant structure not only provides visual highlights for natural aquascapes or biotope aquaria, but also offers shelter for shrimp, young fish and other aquarium inhabitants.
In addition, the pod releases natural tannins and humic substances into the water over a long period of time. These promote a slightly acidic, soft environment that supports the vitality of the animals, reduces germ contamination and improves water quality.
In the aquarium, the Jungle Star Flower begins to sink after a few hours and then unfolds its full effect. The amber-coloured water is not only beautiful to look at, but also authentically mimics tropical blackwater biotopes. The ideal conditions for many ornamental fish species and invertebrates.
Jungle Star Flower is also ideal for use in terraria as a natural decorative element, creating a richly structured environment.
As this is a purely natural product, the shape, colour and size may vary slightly. Each Jungle Star Flower is unique and has an unlimited shelf life when stored in a dry place.

Application:

Place the Jungle Star Flower directly into the aquarium. After a short time, it will sink to the bottom. For a tank volume of 50 litres, we recommend 2–3 pieces, depending on the desired colouring and effect. After about 3–4 weeks, it can be replaced with new specimens.
